From 1994 until 2005, he worked as a Senior Designer at Brennan Beer Gorman Monk / Interiors, where he honed his skills and expertise in hospitality design. His very first project with the firm, Sheraton Russell in New York, received two awards for Best Luxury Suites and Best Luxury Bar from Lodging Hospitality Magazine. In 2005, Tonny founded his name-sake boutique design firm that focuses on personalized design service to the hospitality market. He worked on a number of projects such as Atlantica Restaurant, Allegria Hotel and Spa in Long Beach, New York and the urban Ravel Hotel in New York.

Tonny is a recipient of the 2009 “Wave of The Future” award, presented by Hospitality Design Magazine to a number of the industry’s rising talent — designers who are young enough to be considered visionary, but tested enough to be considered accomplished.
